These synthetic kratom pills like MGM15 and MGM16 are horrible and I’m glad our government is starting to ban them.
They’re basically heroin pills and a lot of them come from China.
Shut down the synthetic pill pipeline and start prosecuting the bad guys.
But the DEA shouldn’t drag the naturally occurring 7-OH products into this. Even President Trump has explicitly supported the much milder, natural 7-OH that has helped so many Veterans, truckers, laborers, and others deal with chronic pain instead of relying on addictive Big Pharma pills.
The DEA’s emergency scheduling looks like a full ban on natural 7-OH. They should only go after the synthetic poison like MGM-15 and MGM-16.

Last week, HHS and the @US_FDA commended @DEAHQ's issuance of two Notices of Intent to begin the temporary scheduling process for certain kratom-related substances. This action is part of the Trump Administration's broader effort to combat the opioid epidemic, end addiction, crack down on deceptive products that threaten public health, and protect American families from dangerous synthetic drugs.
