This is why so many women with invisible disabilities struggle to get diagnosed. Too often, we’re mocked, dismissed, or told our symptoms are “all in our heads” by other women, including medical professionals. By the time many of us are finally taken seriously, the disease has progressed to the point that it threatens our lives. It shouldn’t have to get that far. (3) If McConnell stepped down, under the Senate Rules, Deb Fischer would be the next chairman of Rules. Moreover, I am an original sponsor of the Save America Act and am fighting tooth & nail to force a talking filibuster and pass it. We need to PASS IT NOW!

A message for Kentuckians who now find themselves effectively down one senator: there is still a path to passing the 12 appropriations bills and other critical legislation, but it will require putting significant pressure on Senator Rand Paul to help move them forward. For everyone else, preventing this from happening again will require much greater scrutiny of candidates running for the House and Senate, including whether their age and health could leave them incapacitated and unable to fulfill their duty to the people they represent.

This individual appears to have a substantial Secret Service detail. Under 18 U.S.C. § 3056, the Secret Service generally protects the President, Vice President, their families, former presidents, major presidential candidates, visiting foreign heads of state, and certain other individuals specifically authorized by law or presidential direction. If he does not fall into one of those categories, what is the legal authority for this assignment?
