ChatGPT refuses to say the name “David Mayer,” and no one knows why. If you try to get it to write the name, the chat immediately ends. People have attempted all sorts of things - ciphers, riddles, tricks - and nothing works.

@shipilev I thought I'd take a stab at removing the need to put this on the command line, but then how do you even safely solve this problem. Without knowing the entire code base inside out, I don't know if someone needs a certain class to be deserialised potentially

@MattGoodwin85 The reason many players feel they are inflated is likely more because the player population is now much larger and we fixed an issue where ranks had been too deflated for a long time (pre-OW2). So most OW1 players are probably a bit higher than they were in OW1

@SrslyPaladin How long has the issue existed? I've felt stuck in gold for years, only playing 100 games or so a season, now suddenly I'm plat in all roles, and support went to diamond

It was a really subtle problem, and we found it in a large part thanks to everyone sending me weird cases on Twitter! So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who's sent me reports, it made a big difference!
