The whale noise / Chewbacca mating call that the C Series / A220 makes is ridiculous. In my flat I cannot hear any noise of any aircraft other than that bizarre warble of those engines.

When I say this was the roughest flight of my career so far, I mean it. I have never seen the bunks come out like that. There was coffee everywhere. I have never felt such lateral motion.

I have flown storms for the last six years. This flight to Hurricane #Ian on Kermit (#NOAA42) was the worst I’ve ever been on. I’ve never seen so much lightning in an eye. This was the eye. You can see the curvature. Understand this is at NIGHT. The light is from LIGHTNING.

@torimarzilli A day trip to Sintra from Lisbon if you can swing it! Quinta da Regaleira was my favorite, but Palacio da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros also definitely worth a visit.
