@MattJoy96 Would potentially end up being used more as a timeout than for Var decisions and would add to the argument that football is moving more towards the broadcast audience rather than fans in the grounds (you're adding 4 ad breaks per game for broadcasters effectively)

Surely the best solution for VAR is to give teams two appeals a game. Keep the appeal if it’s upheld, lose it if not. Takes the responsibility off the referees and onto the teams/managers, works in other sports and reduces continual, pointless debate week in week out.

VAR is taking too long - is a time limit the answer? Beware unintended consequences. A time limit could lead to more controversy and mistakes, not less. 👇 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

When will football become enjoyable again? I don’t know if it was due to me being a lot younger, but I miss the days of 10-15 years ago, even with the Premier League season aside, when it just seemed like we had a sembelance of cohesion and competence as a club. #readingc

@mulletrider You could be watching the game on the best WiFi imaginable and he’d still look like he’s lagging as he ran

@MattJoy96 Such good positions and then it looks like his feet are on the wrong way round

Take that any day of the week. Normally dislike the pining for any old players to make a return, but this one isn’t just driven by nostalgia and seems to make perfect sense. Love it. #readingfc
