Not sure why I didn’t do this before but finally actually making github PRs instead of juggling 1 million features on master and force pushing for EVEX Yes this is a vibe coder self report Then I just have an agent read the PRs and decide how to incrementally merge them in Way cleaner.

40 minutes of stairs really reminds you that all of your stresses in life really don't matter, and that the world is a beautiful place.

If you want to boulder shoulders, OHP 5x5 every week. Logged it with EVEX so I can track my progress. Working on adding an ai form checker to the app. High vitality potential!

AI won’t take your job. Someone using AI better than you will. Stop fearing the tool and start using it. The carpenter never blamed the hammer. Adapt it or get left behind.

Brutally honest mid year check. Right now my main goal is building out my ios app @evexapp your ai personal trainer. It took longer to get out than I expected to release. had a few issues getting it into the app store, and honestly spent too much time on extra features for the mvp. But it's finally live, launched a few weeks ago, and I've already got friends and family using it (more public announcement v soon). I love this project because it gives me something real to build content around, which is most of what I'm spending my time on with yt. Hitting 1000 subscribers is something I'm really proud of. I’ve been experimenting a lot with content, split between ai tutorials/news and more build+lifestyle content. The former gets more views, which makes sense since ai is so hot right now. But I don't feel like I'm the best at that format, and it often feels like I'm just reciting things I learned. Documenting what I'm building feels a lot more aligned with what actually motivates me so I'll be doing more of that going forward. Goal is at least two of those per month. A great opportunity for more of that content is my upcoming sabbatical trip to tokyo, singapore, bali, and hawaii. I'm also coming up on two years in austin. My goal this year to network more has been going well. Organizing the posthog atx builders group has been awesome. love the people in it and it's the biggest source of inspiration to keep building. Also been leaning more into health and wellness events like more group fitness classes and especially run clubs which I hadn't done at all until a month ago and is now one of my favorite parts of the week. For the rest of the year I want to keep scaling evex's active user count, start experimenting with ugc marketing and see how far I can grow the app. Still figuring a lot of this out in public. Ready for what the rest of the year brings.
