So Mine Kansu's 3 golden rules for startup growth are: 1) define value + retention clearly 2) keep metrics opinionated and actionable 3) spend more time shipping than fiddling with dashboards

Don't hide underperformance behind old SaaS metrics because "investors understand them". Regardless if user is human or agent, you still need to track retention and activation.

Im at SXSW and I saw a guy running around sweating asking everyone for a Macbook charger for his MB Pro. I told him: " dude here's mine, you can borrow it for 30 min" He looks at me and yells "THIS IS A USB-C CHARGER NOT A MACBOOK CHARGER" I look at him confused Bro doesn't know... His girlfriend nods, and says - "Yeah that's not a macbook charger" They don't know... What world do we live in?

Pro-tip: when the LLM submits a PR, it gets review comments from @greptile. I can instruct @claudeai (or whoever) to read the comments and tell me if they are worth addressing or not, and either address them, or respond to the comment saying why they weren't addressed. This gives the human reviewer good context about why specific points weren't tackled in this PR.

All of these patterns as an example are just matters of “org code”. The IDE helps you build, run, manage them. You can’t fork classical orgs (eg Microsoft) but you’ll be able to fork agentic orgs.

Expectation: the age of the IDE is over Reality: we’re going to need a bigger IDE (imo). It just looks very different because humans now move upwards and program at a higher level - the basic unit of interest is not one file but one agent. It’s still programming.

@nummanali tmux grids are awesome, but i feel a need to have a proper "agent command center" IDE for teams of them, which I could maximize per monitor. E.g. I want to see/hide toggle them, see if any are idle, pop open related tools (e.g. terminal), stats (usage), etc.

Clearly SemVer still dominates in absolute terms.

Sources: GH Archive / Google BigQuery (release events 2020–2025), npm registry, PyPI JSON API, google trends. Caveat: NOT an official study.

Do you also notice a spike in CalVer popularity over SemVer (e.g. @OpenClaw, CLIs, pip)? Turns out CalVer has grown +75% since 2020 and +20% YoY (2024). If @npmjs didn't default packages to SemVer-parseable strings, I bet they would be equal already. Relative popularity plot:
