The way in which the elderly are treated in the UK is disgraceful. Digitisation of everything. Lack of care support. Winter fuel allowance removal. NHS treatment waiting lists. Potentially increasing the state pension age. This will leave so many elderly people in terrible health, lack of support, poverty, isolation and the zero sum game of assisted dying. Remember when they said “save granny”? The government don’t give a shit about granny.
