@BmackSB @DK_Assist @DK_Assist about 10 minutes after the game ended, 2 points came off Richards. It looks like this block got taken away.

@RentFreeAlways @BrianHooper__ @dan_back @peteroverzet I’m sure yahoo will email us when v3 comes out. It’s also really easy to download your 2025 contests and take Winnings less Entry Fees to see what your expected taxable income is roughly.
Still wrong as of right now.
English

@MattPlaysDFS @BrianHooper__ @dan_back @peteroverzet Ok. If I check my 1099 now is it correct? Or not yet?
English

DFS beef @peteroverzet @BrianHooper__ right now Yahoo is giving out 1099 tax statements for the first time and they're massively miscalculating it (reporting income 10x too high). Many have escalated but they're non-responsive. Could see volume/all users leave the site over it.
English

@RentFreeAlways @BrianHooper__ @dan_back @peteroverzet I LinkedIn messaged 31 execs to see if it helped, and got three responses. Maybe our Twitter activity helped flag it too.

@BrianHooper__ @dan_back @peteroverzet Today Yahoo reported they’re fixing it and reissuing 1099s net. Booya.

@EmacDFS @YahooFantasy @YahooFantasyCC It makes it impossible to play on yahoo. The yahoo chat agent can do nothing about it, including escalate it. I lost money and they are sending me a 1099. It's nuts.

@MattHarmon_BYB please help, Yahoo’s DFS issued 1099s for the first time this year. They’re gross of expenses, so if I earn $1,000, my 1099 may report $10k. This will kill your DFS product and correctly anger all 2025 users. This can’t be the intention. Please escalate to someone

@BrianHooper__ @dan_back @peteroverzet Thank you for following up. This is Joel.
Please note: we have followed available IRS guidance in issuing Form 1099-MISC. For any further questions, please consult a qualified tax professional. We appreciate your continued interest in Yahoo Fantasy.

@FantasyTBall @EmacDFS @RunDMcD They just emailed me back on why they excluded non cashing entries.

@RunDMcD Yahoo messing with your life now. Outrageous.

Confirming what others are posting @YahooFantasy @YahooFantasyCC is reporting 1099Misc with only the entry fees of cashing lineups netted against those winnings, ignoring the entry fees of all other lineups This overstates income to the IRS by a factor of 5-to-15x for most.
English

@MattPlaysDFS I’m just going to withdraw all of my money. no point in playing there going forward
English

@MattPlaysDFS have you heard anything back lately? they stopped responding to me. They are stating i won 197k, then a week later i get a new one for 135k. crazy.
English

@BrianHooper__ This is their first year sending out 1099s (and reporting our taxable income to the IRS). Prior years was self reporting so everyone hopefully told the truth.
So Yahoo will tell the IRS Moklovin earned $2M taxable income, he’ll say he earned $200k, and an audit will trigger. Joy
