@real_bkreider@YahooFantasy@YahooFantasyCC Ultimately their 3rd party provider (track1099.com Avalara) will send you a link to your 1099 to the email on file.
I have heard Yahoo may be rethinking their stance and reissuing 1099s, though I have not been able to get a revised one yet.
Confirming what others are posting @YahooFantasy@YahooFantasyCC is reporting 1099Misc with only the entry fees of cashing lineups netted against those winnings, ignoring the entry fees of all other lineups
This overstates income to the IRS by a factor of 5-to-15x for most.
@RentFreeAlways@BrianHooper__@dan_back@peteroverzet They really should email everyone to give an update… I don’t want to doxx my source but a Sr. Manager at Yahoo Sports. I’ll ping him if we don’t have an update by 3/6.
DFS beef @peteroverzet@BrianHooper__ right now Yahoo is giving out 1099 tax statements for the first time and they're massively miscalculating it (reporting income 10x too high). Many have escalated but they're non-responsive. Could see volume/all users leave the site over it.
