Philosophy excels when it comes to teaching logic, reasoning, and critical thinking. But it fails *miserably* at answering the questions it claims fall within its domain: what is right & wrong, consciousness, does God exist, what is a person, what can we know.

Is it just me or do you not see the '-gate' suffix used to name scandals these days? If it is falling out of use, is that because corruption is so widespread? Or is the news cycle now so fast that scandals don't last long enough to be named and identified as distinct entities?
