So proud of my dear friend and legend Leah Levane and co-chair of Jewish Voice for Liberation who today, on her birthday, was arrested under 'counterterrorism' legislation for sitting peacefully holding a piece of paper opposing genocide. The Hastings Police defied the High Court ruling that the proscription of the nonviolent direct action group was UNLAWFUL and therefore contrary to their role and position they are supposed to take as independent to the government and politically neutral, they have chosen to very much take a political position, contrary to the UK legislature and international law and at the behest of our war criminals in Downing Street and the State undertaking several genocides, for which it is being investigated. It is a good time to remind people that despite the Met Police having been given a dossier over a year ago by a group of lawyers that contains hard evidence of war crimes by ten Britons who served in the IOF, NOT ONE has been investigated or arrested for murdering civilians! Is holding a piece of paper terrorism or is murdering children and civilians?!

A young Palestinian man from Silwan, Abdulrahman Sarhan, describes in detail how Israeli colonial terrorists attacked him the day before in Rishon LeZion while Israeli occupation police stood by and did nothing. He and a friend had parked near the beach when a settler spotted them, began circling their car, and tried to provoke his friend before leaving. Ten minutes later he returned with a mob of around fifteen men in vans and Skoda cars, armed with rocks, knives, and pepper spray. They sprayed gas directly into Abdulrahman's eyes, blinding him completely, then hit him over the head with a rod until he lost consciousness. While he was unconscious they beat and kicked him and pressed a knife to his stomach. He came to just in time to shield his stomach with his hand, so they drove the knife into his leg instead. They fled when they believed he was dead. No Israeli occupation police officer intervened at any point. silwanic (IG)
