Under helgen har vi har bilister vid två tillfällen kört på personer på obevakade övergångsställen. I första fallet en barnvagn. Barnet klarade sig bra. I andra fallet en joggare som fick föras till sjukhus med ambulans. Bilister, ni är skyldiga att lämna gående företräde.

@YB_Sodermalm @03Jowe Vem tusan kör fram en barnvagn som något test vid ett övergångsställe. Orosanmälan hoppades jag upprättades. Även om bilägaren givetvis var den som gjorde fel i situationen. Men ibland ser man inte, särskilt riksmongon spelar hurtiga och springer med barnvagnen i stadstrafik.

@YB_Sodermalm Det är inget bra så klart, men det finns fotgängare som går utmed trottoarkanten i samma riktning som trafiken och plötsligt stegar rakt ut på övergångsstället utan att vända huvudet mot trafiken.

@GambelerQuail Locals avoiding the place should have been a major red flag. They lived 70 years of cushy lives in a country with strong institutions, robust public services, and convenient infrastructure. Then they went to a place that had none of these to see an "attraction".

@kahnfessions In my Swedish town there's only a handful of nice restaurants who don't let you book, and you can bet your sweet ass they're constantly full and have queues stretching for hours. Just have most tables unbookable, and the rest bookable for people who want some peace of mind

I really loathe restaurant reservation culture. It favors the "fascistic planners" over the "whimsical flâneurs" like myself.

“Corporate farming methods” are why you don’t have to do backbreaking work as a farmer anymore and why starvation is the exception rather than the rule around the world today
