It’s National STEM/STEAM Day, and we are excited to introduce one of our amazing Digital Integration Facilitators (DIF), Ashley, who is dedicated to empowering students through technology! 📲💻
As Ashley explains: "We use software, engineering, coding, & digital tools, sometimes with programming robots to reach the needs of the learners, tying our digital standards into the core curriculum and digital citizenship."
Each DIF in our district serves multiple schools to support digital integration—Ashley herself serves 3! Their mission? Advocating for equitable access to devices from K-12 and promoting their use as tools for creation, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking to prepare students for success in a tech-immersive world. 🌎💡
DIFs are here to help teachers and students develop the skills they need to be safe, responsible, and productive in our increasingly digital landscape!
