Has anyone ever installed drip in a USGA putting green at 7-8" depth? Need to be below cup depth. Advice on spacing? Is it even worth it with limited capillary rise? Was thinking if a hybrid of overhead and drip on this backyard green project.

I wish that people with acidic soils experience would stop giving advice to the one dealing with alkaline conditions.

@TurfgrassZealot Not if your irrigation system has a poor DU. You still need to apply water uniformly.

turfRad can measure moisture in a square meter. And that in turn can become a look at uniformity. Can you imagine an audit every day? I can.
