@MatteoHoch @adammarkowitzEA I do have a tax preparer but I figure out the % US Obligations myself and give it to her. It used to be on my 1099, but they quit putting it on there. I also do my taxes in Free Tax USA so I understand them and can review the ones she does. I may not need her lol.

@wlthyaccountant Curious, why do you do that? I include digital document storage with all engagements and clients seem to like it. When I rename their PDFs I can reupload that so it's more organized

The IRS has a new Tax Withholding Estimator! Taxpayers enter in their income, expected deductions, and other relevant info to estimate what they’ll owe in taxes at the end of the year, and adjust the withholding on their paycheck. And it’s open source: github.com/IRS-Public/tax…

Why is this important for wealth tech? Because the open web always beats silos. If we want the fiduciary ecosystem to actually innovate, we need secure, interoperable data architecture, not more walled gardens. May the best protocols win.
