@Mets this might be the worst team we’ve had since the mid 2000’s. Hard to watch. Not many teams are this bad at hitting a ball.

@NFL_DovKleiman Ryan Clark is one of the biggest race baiters in the world and ESPN loves it.

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Ryan Clark is being called “RACIST” by NFL fans for spending the halftime show defending CJ Stroud after he threw FOUR interceptions. Clark consistently goes after “white” quarterbacks such as Josh Allen & Justin Herbert for their playoff failures 😬😬😬

The thing about even considering a salary cap is how do you handle the Dodgers? They already have all of this guaranteed money on the books for the next couple of years. They would never be able to get under. They would have to start at like $450M and work their way down every year.

Many are justifying the Kyle Tucker signing, by saying that any owner could spend like the Dodgers but “they just don’t want to win enough”. This is the most idiotic take I’ve ever seen. It shows you know nothing about the business side of the game. MLB let Dodgers keep almost all of their TV Money. They are the only team that gets to do this because of negotiations during the McCourt Bankruptcy. After the bankruptcy settlement, They negotiated the largest local TV deal in all of MLB but the settlement amount subject to revenue share was based on the OLD contract. They do not have to share most of their TV money and this is what allows the insane spending. Again, they are 1 of 30 teams to get this carveout from the league and the only team who could even attempt to spend like this. Stop saying other owners are cheap. None of them have a special exemption on revenue sharing for their TV contracts like the Dodgers do. MLB Created this situation.

I’m not mad @Mets for losing out on Tucker. I’m mad that they waited until January 15th to do so. This team is a dumpster fire. You have 30 days until spring training and short of selling the entire farm they aren’t going to be better than last year which was an 83 win team.

Kyle Tucker's four-year, $240 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers includes opt-outs after the second and third seasons, sources tell ESPN. An enormous windfall for the best free agent available. And the champs get even better. @ByRobertMurray was on top of the money.

@HoodieAlonso Spot on. Every team should boycott these guys if they ever hit FA again.

I think any player that signs with the dodgers should be blacklisted by every other team if/when they hit FA again. I want guys who want to beat the champs not join them and be just another guy.

@SleeperMets @JeffPassan Lockout is 100% happening. Also can’t wait for the 30 for 30 about the Dodgers getting exposed for massive salary fraud in 10 years.
