@davidicke Yup. I heard Mullis say it in an interview about PCR. There are at least 50 known coronavirus strains and the PCR test would amplify most of them. Does it work on orthoebolaviruses? Obviously they're claiming it does.

Yes - good point. The conventional story is that it is DNA viruses that can lay dormant and reactivate like shingles after chickenpox. SARS-CoV-2 seemed to reactivate very rapidly after vaccinations even though it is RNA. The big question is whether reduced host defences are a sufficient explanation i.e. is virus ubiquitous enough that it would look like reactivation of something internal?

150 years ago germ theory was accepted the best model to explain infectious diseases. It got a lot right. But there are major aspects of infectious diseases that don't fit and the model could do with some added nuance. dailysceptic.org/2026/01/27/the…
