Alright, I’m curious how everyone else is feeling about 007 First Light, because to me, this whole project is just… strange. Bond fans skew older, people like me (boomer) who actually grew up with the character. Younger players don’t have the nostalgia, and they’re not really the target audience for anything Bond‑related in the first place. But IOI is making a game about a young Bond, and in the process they seem to be tossing out everything that actually defines the character. It feels like a weird use of their talent. I’m sure the game will be mechanically solid—they’re IOI, after all—but I don’t see it resonating with the people who’ve been waiting forthe return of a truly great Bond game. That’s my read on it. How are the rest of you feeling about the game?

Cayde's final message to us feels like he is speaking on behalf of destiny. It feels like whoever wrote those voice lines knew deep down that the end might be near. We didnt know it at the time but we were listening to the start of destiny saying goodbye. Breaks my heart.

@blueberriesGG Pretty accurate actually. You forgetting about the micro transactions and the episodes. Nobody wanted a starwars update either. Destiny is its own IP and shouldn’t follow anything similar. But it really goes all the way back to 2020 with the content genocide. SMH

I can easily think of 5 things that hurt D2 WAY MORE than Renegades: - Wasting resources on failed incubation projects (2024) - The Edge of Fate - The Portal + Tiered gear - The Content Vault + Sunsetting - Biggest: Not ending D2 with the Final Shape to start working on D3

The irony is that they had the most players and made the most money when their focus wasn't making money but rather just making a good game that their players would love. If you pursue passion, the people who share in that same passion will give you everything.
