The Bible passage that describes how to deal with mold (or mildew) in a house is Leviticus 14:33–53 Key steps outlined in the passage (NIV summary):The homeowner notices what looks like defiling mold and reports it to the priest (v. 35). The priest orders the house emptied (to avoid contaminating belongings), inspects it, and if greenish/reddish depressions appear deeper than the wall surface, quarantines (shuts up) the house for 7 days (vv. 36–38). On day 7, the priest re-inspects:If the mold has spread → Contaminated stones are torn out and thrown in an unclean place outside town; walls are scraped; debris dumped outside; new stones and plaster replace them (vv. 39–42).
