@DavisMattek I totally get that Marshawn Lloyd has barely played so far due to health issues, BUT… He was a talented back at USC and was drafted in the 3rd round and is, presumably, finally healthy. Seeing people not mention him AT ALL when talking Packers RBs is kinda odd.

@JA17MVPs Which really good player was on the board at 26? Not all draft classes are created equal. The number of prospects with first round grades cited by NFL GMs and analysts this year has consistently been in the 10-14 range. Some people are just never happy.

@JA17MVPs Everyone agreed this was a below average draft class with a below average amount of players with 1st round grades. If Bills didn’t have any players with 1st round grades left — and oh, I dunno, are completely changing defensive schemes(!) — adding picks makes a lotta sense.

I love how people are congratulating Beane on a great draft as if he has the track record to justify this. He’s had some AWFUL 2-4th round selections.

@TyDunne I can see both sides of the argument. Adding more capital within the sweet spot of what everyone seems to agree is a mediocre draft class is wise. Adding another legitimate playmaker for Josh Allen also would’ve been wise. Alas. Nuance doesn’t sell.

Bills could use a colossus in the middle of Jim Leonhard’s defense. If Kayden McDonald or Christen Miller are still around, loading up on picks makes sense. But seeing what Howie Roseman does every year makes you think if it’s worth trading into WR range. The best in the game, JSN, went 20th. Bills just missed that WR rush.

@AaronQuinn716 I think they may have viewed Cooper’s skillset as too redundant with Shakir’s. Regardless, I don’t think the Bills had a 1st round grade on him.

I'm pretty annoyed Bills had a chance at Omar Cooper Jr, and they moved back TWICE. I think Beane may have gotten too cute and missed out.

Inaccurate over-generalization. I’m convinced that people who say this stuff don’t watch the current/recent product.

The organization consistently puts on high quality matches and jam-packed PPVs. I’m sorry it doesn’t do it for ya, though. To each their own!

If you want Paul Thomas Anderson masterpieces, maybe pick a different pastime. Or go watch a Gingerbread man and Pat McAfee 🤷‍♂️
