Do these facts affect how you see Zelenskyy? He has taken several significant steps that have impacted the political opposition in Ukraine: Suspension of Opposition Parties: In March 2022, Zelenskyy suspended 11 political parties, including the Opposition Platform – for Life, which was one of the larger opposition parties, due to alleged ties with Russia. This was done under martial law, which was justified by the ongoing war with Russia. Media Control: Zelenskyy's administration has consolidated Ukraine's television channels into a single, government-run broadcast service, which has been criticized for limiting the diversity of media voices. Martial Law and Elections: Martial law, enacted due to the Russian invasion, has allowed for the suspension of elections, thereby preventing any immediate political challenge through democratic processes. This has been extended several times since its initial implementation in 2022.
