Arsenal’s route to the final is insane. They’ve been playing Europa League football the whole way through ffs 🤣 Bilbao Atletico Olympiacos Club Brugge Slavia Praha Kairat Almaty Leverkusen Sporting Atletico A rude awakening likely awaits them against a proper side.

🚨BREAKING: Fans are questioning what the point of having VAR is after what just happened in the UCL: >The ref called a foul against Atlitico Madrid on Gabriel inside Arsenal's box. >Immediately after, Griezmann got clearly fouled in the box (should be a penalty) >The replay showed Gabriel never got fouled on the ref's initial call meaning play shouldn't have been stopped & Atleti should have a penalty. >VAR reviewed nothing.

Does honesty pay? Haaland could have reacted theatrically to Gabriel and got him sent off, and a 3-match ban. Arsenal have cover but Gabriel would have been a loss. Haaland is honest. Stayed on his feet. PL Key Match Incidents panel says Gabriel should have got red not yellow 1/2

🚨Gary Neville says Arsenal are most likely to drop points away at West Ham United, speaking on the Sky Sports podcast: 🗣️"I watched Arsenal last night and disappointed is the wrong word but Mikel Arteta might be thinking that they could have scored a couple more and whether they might regret that" "But he’ll be happy with the win and he has to remind the players to take their chances and be clinical and ruthless. Those are the messages he will be giving I imagine" "They can’t sit back now in games, they need to keep going. I think Man City will beat Everton but it would be absolutely stunning if they were to drop points there, it would be stunning" "I don’t think it will happen. It’s a massive week because I think the game Arsenal are most likely to drop points in is West Ham away" "That’s the game they should fear most. It’s a horrible one because West Ham is fighting for their lives and needs the points."

I’m tired of the fear around chemicals in food. Food is chemistry. The difference today is measurement, limits, and control. That’s progress. Pretending otherwise isn’t protecting consumers. It’s rejecting basic science.

Liverpool have 10 players on over 3000 minutes in all comps, #Arsenal and Chelsea have seven, Man City have five, Newcastle have four. The intensity of the Premier League is on a whole other level to France, Germany, and even Spain. It’s killing itself.

What made PSG vs Bayern possible was players comfortable operating inside and outside the game at all angles whilst being nimble and fit enough to constantly make runs and brave to get on the ball. That’s why Enrique talks about position-less football. Every player. Everywhere.

Stanford scientists found one bacteria missing in almost every obese, diabetic, and inflamed patient they studied. It's supposed to make up 3-5% of your gut. In people with metabolic problems, it's often 3,000 times lower. This bacteria has one job. It lives in the mucus lining of your gut wall, The last layer of defense between your bloodstream and the outside world. It eats old mucus, stimulates your body to make fresh mucus, and seals the wall tight. When it's there, your gut barrier is strong. When it's gone, the wall thins: Weight becomes harder to lose Food particles leak through Blood sugar misbehaves Cholesterol creeps up Inflammation climbs Researchers at Nature Medicine gave this bacteria to overweight adults for 3 months. The results: - Cholesterol dropped - Insulin sensitivity improved - Liver inflammation markers fell - Gut barrier function strengthened - Body weight started trending down without a single diet change Here's what people are reporting when they rebuild this strain and its probiotic cousins: Blood sugar stabilizing Cravings for sugar fading Bloating disappearing in days Skin clearing after years of struggle Clothes fitting differently in a matter of weeks What destroys this bacteria? Alcohol Antibiotics Chronic stress Artificial sweeteners High-fat, high-sugar processed diets You can't buy this specific strain at most health food stores. But you can feed the bacteria you already have, and colonize with related strains that do similar work - At levels 10x higher than any capsule. The trick is fermentation. A jar of homemade yogurt fermented with the right strain for 36 hours at the right temperature can deliver 200+ billion live probiotic cultures per serving. A store-bought yogurt? Maybe 1 billion if you're lucky. Dr. William Davis (author of "Super Gut") has spent years documenting exactly how to do this at home. I've been making it myself for 3 years. The difference in how I feel is night and day. Comment PROBIOTICS and I'll send you the free guide on how to make unlimited probiotics at home. P.S. MUST Follow for me to DM you.

WHY IS MIKEL ARTETA UNLUCKY? In terms of luck, Mikel’s downfall is that he is facing a philosopher-level manager in Pep Guardiola whereas Mikel is merely a sportsman. The way I describe it is this: Pep has come to the boxing ring in search for the truth of life. Mikel is a young boxer who has perfectly studied and practiced boxing. Mikel therefore can match anyone in the world of boxing but not someone like a Pep who has come looking for wisdom. Let me show you how this works out: Pep can take specific risks that genuinely make no sense until they work out. Antagonizing Ibrahimovic and Eto is something that doesn’t make sense to do if you are in your first job as a manager. Mikel is so good at football management that he would never do this and put his project & career at risk. Pep has no problems risking his entire career. As such, when it comes to dealing with superiors or fellow staff members, Pep is not too concerned with buddying up. Every relationship first and foremost is a question of footballing value. Remember the Joe Hart saga at City? Arteta is so studiously smart that he recognizes the fragility of his position and will prefer to buddy up with power over questioning it. The logic is simple. It buys him enough time to win more power and finally put football value first. This situation has developed with Edu and Berta where Mikel hardly questions a relationship until his position is solid. It makes sense, doesn’t it? Solidifying your position before attacking an enemy base. So Mikel will entertain some underperformance in order to maintain proximity with power. It is a political strategy to guarantee, first, survival, and afterwards, the power to make changes. The problem with this strategy is very small. In fact, compared to a Thomas Tuchel, Mikel is a better operator. However, his rival is an operator we have never seen before: a philosopher in football. Pep is ruthless his position, damn what anyone else says. He takes more career risks than any coach. Consider how City have operated in the January windows of the last two seasons. In both seasons, this one included, they have started struggling and rejuvenated themselves with signings in January. The common theme is that January is a tough market to sign a player in. Clubs hardly want to lose good players halfway through the season. Players also cannot really agitate for a move unless their contract is expiring or something. January deals are a pain in the neck to execute. Most directors & board members will simply tell the manager to exercise patience till summer when they will fully support his dreams. It is not a hill worth dying over. Politically, it makes sense because if you push, you antagonize your superiors & your position as a manager is weakened especially if results don’t go your way. Pep pushes regardless, partly because he has earned the right to do so, but mostly because he doesn’t prioritize such relationships over pitch value. Arsenal had several injuries to their attackers last January. They somehow signed no one and while season ended with nothing. The same thing again this season. Mikel indeed got the players he wanted in the last summer window. They are easy to tell. Zubimendi. Hincapie. Madueke. Eze. A manager like him knows that Gyokeres was not fit for the level. In fact, the recruitment team said so according to reports. Yet Mikel accepted him as a compromise/a reward for getting his way with other players. It is a simple political calculus. You can have one because you have fulfilled my wish on others. Andrea Berta seemed to have taken this opportunity to end Arsenal’s pursuit of Sesko to bring in his own player. Politically, this is a Win-Win situation for Arteta. He got Berta on his side. And Berta holds responsibility for his signing at the end of the day. Arteta will come out of this even more powerful than before. But will it help him be lucky against a Freak Philosopher who doesn’t care for politics?

Arsenal really went from having elite technicians like Zinchenko, Xhaka, Partey and Jorginho handling their buildup, playing quick vertical passes BTL, breaking lines for fun, to having bricklayers handle it. Insane downgrade!

New Jersey is ready and excited to host eight FIFA World Cup matches this summer – including the World Cup Final. Since I took office, my Administration has been working to prepare for the biggest sporting event our state has ever seen – and today, NJ TRANSIT released their Mobility Plan to move 40,000 fans to and from each match safely and efficiently. In the FIFA World Cup agreement that my Administration inherited, FIFA put zero dollars towards transporting World Cup fans. It also eliminated parking at MetLife Stadium, putting the burden of transporting four times more matchday riders than typical for an event at the stadium on NJ TRANSIT. This agreement will cost NJ TRANSIT at least $48 million, while FIFA is positioned to make $11 billion during the World Cup. As I have said repeatedly, FIFA should cover the cost of transporting its fans. If it won’t, we will not be subsidizing World Cup ticket holders on the backs of New Jerseyans who rely on NJ TRANSIT every day.

@tommiedotjpg Tommie - do your homework. FIFA sets prices and collects revenues from the World Cup. They get 100% of ticket sale revenues (they pay the hosting venues a fee) and parking fees. Additionally they foist economic responsibility for transportation on the the local jurisdictions.

We inherited an agreement where FIFA is providing $0 for transportation to the World Cup. And while NJ TRANSIT is stuck with a $48 million bill to safely get fans to and from games, FIFA is making $11 billion. I’m not going to stick New Jersey commuters with that tab for years to come. FIFA should pay for the rides. But if they don’t – I’m not going to let New Jersey get taken for one.
