At one point, our family of 8 (at the time) lived in a 2 bed/1 bath apartment; I was in graduate school and we didn’t have an extra penny to our name. One Christmas, @kards87 and his wife showed up to our apartment door, gave us $200 dollars, and left fast so I couldn’t give it back. I was telling our kids that story right before we filmed this. Tee gave us money, but God’s love doesn’t have to be manifest in that fashion all the time. Everyone is familiar with Silent Night, but the last song is a Tongan Hymn we sang to remember what Tee and Carey did for us in leaving the 99 and finding the 1.
