@CalontheRock @gator_gum Of building it. Also a pipeline is absolutely needed west to east and is good for the economy, but oil and gas is not the only part of the economy. HSR stimulates the economy in other sectors which are important too. We need to build and keep building

Because we take forever between infrastructure projects expertise disappears which is why budgets balloon like crazy because we outsource knowledge instead

Also, this isn't remotely how taxation works. We don't pay "per person" for projects.

Ottawa wants to spend $90 Billion on high-speed rail between Toronto and Quebec City. That's $4000 out of the pocket of every Canadian taxpayer to fund something that 99% will never use. As usual, Western Canadians will be paying to subsidize Ontario and Quebec. Insanity.

@SpaceWalkerReal Here in Alberta we've had talks about HSR for forever. Hoping that this project finally gets it built here too. These 2 corridors are the easiest no brainer places to start implementing HSR till we eventually have the support/capacity of going east to west completely
