This feels like another example of Santos' anxiety manifesting a reality different from the truth because from what we've seen there are several people that know about Langdon stealing drugs: Robby, Santos, Dana, Whitaker, Perlah (and by proxy Princess), Garcia, and now Mel.

@peekoloko I disagree From a big picture perspective what does her dragging him more even do? Like he has to atone to the all mighty Trinity Santos because SHE isn't satisfied? I feel her own issues and past traumas are obstructing her from having any shred of empathy, not just with him

from an addicts perspective im terrified and i would be terrified to expose my addiction to everyone i work with, but im also not a doctor. but from trinity’s side its 100% valid for her to want the people around her to know what truly happened.

Point taken, but kind of a stretch Most nurses I worked with did what we are assuming he did, which was over prescribe and skim off the med cart You'd have to prove in court that his actions were maleficent and "caused actual harm". Which is how they also rationalize it

@w_rldisafuck @MattyB187 @ancientlovesong I also want to point out,,, that he could be held civilly liable for tampering with his patients medication (and these would hold water, unlike Mel’s case) and the fact that Robby covered for him, means that those patients (there’s no way it was only two) will never get justice.

@viennxs Nope. It's so common most states have these programs as a diversion program If they don't comply with the terms which includes everything Robby spelled out in SE1ep15, then the board revokes licensure It's "take this one chance to get the help, or find another career"

@that_tv_girl They are doing a shit job explaining the process Langdon would have to self-report to the state, they set him up with all the treatments, and he signs a monitoring agreement to keep his license. Kinda like being on probation State knows, HR knows but nobody else needs to know

i love that santos brought up that langdon has not really told anybody about stealing drugs because he did have a conversation with mel where he actively chose not to say it & with al-hashimi too & now that al-hashimi knows, this paves the way for him to get to tell mel himself.

@inkyubus13 They aren't doing a good job explaining the process. Langdon would have to SELF-REPORT to the state Everything would be kept internal, but the hospital would def know When they have whole programs for that stuff, you know he's not the first to do this and won't be the last

@NE0JENZ @utacult No, that has to be a part of the monitoring agreement with the State I worked with my State's HPRP as a treatment provider for mostly nurses. If anyone wants any shred of keeping their license, they have to self-report to EVERYTHING
