The 49ers benefit big time from a number of different factors, including a salary-cap insurance policy they took out on Nick Bosa's contract that pays them back over $7 million in adjustments.
In total: $20.7 million of new 2026 cap space for SF — still waiting for cap numbers on a lot of the new deals for the exact amount of 49ers space at the moment

One spot where the 49ers still have a glaring concern, IMO: Safety.
But it’s very hard to know exactly what Raheem Morris wants back there. But safety is in many way the communication QB of the defense because the position sees everything unfold in front of it.
The move(s) there (maybe it doesn’t happen until the draft) will be very insightful

Interesting defensive drill by the Yankees right now. With a man on first and no outs, the Yankees are practicing letting pop ups to the right side drop so they can dupe the runners and try to turn a DP. Circumstances must be right. But remember this tweet if it happens this year
