Yesterday, Taylor Harwood-Bellis mocked Luke Ayling for his stammer. Here’s a video of Ayling discussing what it’s like to live with a stammer and his journey. Anyone who mocks him after watching a video like this should hang their head in shame.

Whatever happens in the play offs, I feel a right sided forward should be a priority in the summer. None of the current 3 in that position have done enough IMO. There’s obviously other positions that require improvements too but adding some quality in that area is key #gtfc

@MattyBeer Absolutely, understand that completely - and why you asked. Just feel it’s something that needs rectifying as a matter of importance- it’ll cost I know..but if/when we improve on pitch, we need the customer experience to improve also

The Mariners Trust has been in ongoing discussions with Grimsby Town Football Club following the concerns raised around away ticket allocations. We understand just how important away matches are to supporters and fully recognise the frustration felt this week surrounding the allocation for Friday’s play-off fixture at Salford City. The level of demand and the disappointment experienced by many fans has shown that there is a wider conversation to be had around how future high-demand fixtures are managed. Trust representatives have spoken directly with club officials to discuss potential improvements moving forward, with a focus on recognising loyal away supporters while also ensuring access remains achievable for the wider fanbase and future generations of Mariners. Areas we will continue to explore with the Club include: •A potential loyalty points-based system recognising regular away attendance •Greater clarity around ticket allocation processes •Ensuring any future system works as effectively as possible for all supporters We also want to hear directly from supporters as part of those conversations. Whether your views are around loyalty schemes, membership structures or how allocations could work differently in future, your feedback is important in helping shape discussions going forward. Supporters can contact the Trust via enquiries@marinerstrust.co.uk with their thoughts and suggestions. We appreciate the Club’s willingness to engage in constructive discussions around this issue and we will continue to represent supporters’ views as part of those conversations. @MarinersTrust A ticketing platform that’s fit for purpose..and works..would appease many frustrated supporters.Rare we’ll have these issues much (Salford game) but more clarity when these situations do occur would also appease many.
