Deeply alarmed by the escalating conflict in the Middle East and beyond. Restraint and dialogue are urgently needed. Civilians must be protected and international humanitarian law upheld. UNHCR is mobilizing to support those forced to flee and remains on the ground delivering aid

Darkness is spreading across the Middle East. Civilians, women and children, are paying the highest price. But darkness is not destiny. We still have a choice. Civilians must be protected. International humanitarian law must be upheld. Dialogue must be kept alive. Peace is possible where we uphold the values and principles of the Charter and respect international rule of law.

Privileged to be part of an intense process led by @GnonKond, together with @Refugees experts & leaders from the region, to tackle the increasing protection challenges, and accelerating solutions for the 22 million displaced persons across west and central Africa.

3/3 L’implication des sectoriels et des OSC renforce l’appropriation du Cadre de coopération et facilite sa diffusion auprès de leurs bases. Engagement collectif confirmé pour une mise en œuvre axée sur des résultats concrets au bénéfice des populations. Le travail continue.

2/3 Les participants ont salué la qualité du dialogue et l’esprit de partenariat. Un message fort : l’appréciation des efforts du SNU pour s’aligner clairement sur les priorités nationales et accompagner les ambitions du pays avec cohérence et efficacité. #Partenariat #Impact2030
