Bayern want to set an example with Konrad Laimer and are refusing to meet his salary demands (€12-15m). The club would be willing to sell him this summer or even let his contract run down (until 2027) since he had also joined on a free anyway [@cfbayern, @itstheicebird]

the most interesting thing about the blue button vs red button debate is how it reveals how many people believe the red button option is a purely “safe” option and not the explicitely violent option, and i think that frames the israel / palestine conversation fairly well

@ViewerAnon The show is by no means perfect. Somewhere between seasons 3 and 4 I got tired of the endless loop of "Butcher is a bastard, we can't work with him" and "But we need him, he's the only one that can do it", but season 5 honestly drew me back in. I've really been enjoying it.

@ViewerAnon Apparently people were expecting 8 episode of non-stop epic battle? That's just not the Boys and it's never aimed to be that. Besides, that would just realistically end up with Homelander killing everybody in under an episode.

Feels like I’m in a bizarro universe where a large chunk of the audience just wants the final season of Game of Thrones - all plot, no time to let character moments land, just battles and spectacle and death cuz ending.

It’s annoying how some #TheBoys viewers keep complaining. Epi 4 & 5 took deep dive into back stories. A show is made by its characters, their thoughts, motives, emotions. How can anyone relate to a show without knowing THEM deeply. I was seeing complains of lack of Black Noir, Sage & Firecracker till last week. The current epi gave them the stage. And you guys still complain? Then it also took the story ahead by showing Sage’s plans, Soldier Boy & Homelander’s relation taking a new shade, both of them finding the exact spot the V1 is. And it was entertaining. The main motive is to kill Homelander, if that happens now what will we watch the rest of the episodes for?

@theboyssocials I loved it, we got some well needed insight into what's going on at Vought. Also, Valorie Curry put on an acting master class and really got me invested in Firecracker.
People seem to forget that the "scorched earth" they expect would just mean Homelander killing everybody.

@iMiaSanMia The rule should be modified to be about any homegrown players in general. Making it about U19 or U20 will just result in the best young prospects getting overplayed into oblivion.
I get the wanting to focus on academy players but that's simply not a change you can make overnight

FIFA is considering a proposal which would mandate all clubs to have at least one homegrown player from the under-20 or under-21 category on the pitch 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀

@iMiaSanMia His main challenge is figuring out our fullbacks. PSG are deadly on the wings and Laimer is not a left back (not even a right back really) and Stanisic simply can't keep up at this level.

@iMiaSanMia The board's main objective this summer should be depth. Of course you can't expect to have world class players happy to sit on the bench, but the drop off if any of our attackers of midfielders gets injured (bar maybe Olise for Karl) is way too high

In no way is this a complaint against CLAYFACE.
But i wish this film was in the Matt Reeves Batman universe rather than the DCU. It’s standalone and i’m happy with that. I just can’t help but think it would do more good for that universe rather than the DCU
