@Typerighting Because these are the same Nelves who were alive during the Well of Eternity, who outlawed arcane practice, and who exiled Dath'remar Sunstrider. Not to mention all the issues fonts of power cause in general. It makes sense they'd still have an opinion on the matter.

@ghekor @KrestoRp There absolutelty were High Elves in Silvermoon at the time, and Kaelthas exiled them for not wanting to siphon the life essence of creatures to sate their addictions, or call themselves Belves. Not a majority, but there were absolutely some there to physically be banished.

@Eldenrune_ They're probably bemoaning the introduction of mass teleporting, as it trivializes greater conflicts and leaves readers/players wondering why the hell they DIDNT mass teleport every ally in anytime they don't.
Or at least that's one of my big complaints with teleporting lol

@Velravyn Fr though, I wish they would go back to split narratives, and just FULLY embrace the perspective storytelling instead of a neutrality storyline for the sake of cutting costs. Idc who is good or evil, I care about MY faction perspective.

Honestly at this point, part of me kind of wants the Alliance to nuke Thunder Bluff so we're over and done with Teldrassil.
Maybe we'll stop getting "White Boy tells older people of different cultures to get along for the sake of western ideal culture" too.

@MavrelNotMarvel Do you have a source for that? AFAIK, the only really difference between priests and paladins is how they use it. Priests use it to inspire, comfort, and renew, while paladins use it to protects and avenge. Many of the original paladins of the silver hand were priests-

Lorewise any race that can be priest should theoretically be able to be a paladin. The way blizzard wrote how light magic works also makes it extremely versatile when it comes to giving reasons for different races to be paladins. There's literally no reason for the limitation.

@thundahstahm Yeah Nightmare Hunts are more testing, but the lower difficulty ones are best done in tandem with other world stuff you wanted to do. I was doing Norms/Hards in Eversong while completing the weekly party/thing event, etc.
But Nightmare is def done as the only focus lol

Just completed my first (normal) Prey Hunt...does it get better? Didn't seem wildly compelling.
Mind you, I might be at a burn-out point, and life is stressful right now, but I'd love to know how other people are feeling about the new system.

Thats cool, although I liked it better when Rockstar could put out games in a timely manner like in the PS2 days rather than wasting dev time on horse testicles that shrink in the cold :)

In Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018): railroad workers are actually working and they nail the track into the ground before moving onto the next nail until they finish. In Crimson Desert (2026): NPCs endlessly hit the same rocks without a purpose while clipping through them.

The only thing that makes it 'not an rpg'is just that the story is so awful and barebones. But it exists JUST ENOUGH for people to be annoyed that they even bothered including a half-assed attempt.

@Ruby_Larkspur @BringBackBanjoK @zCaLLMeJacob99 It's a game with virtually no story, thats entire loop is engaging in content. If the only thing the game exists to give, the content, isn't good for the first 8hrs, then the first 8hrs of the game aren't good.
And it also saying "it's not an rpg" is a marketing tactic.

@Ruby_Larkspur @BringBackBanjoK @zCaLLMeJacob99 Think of literally any kind of game. Sandbox, RPG, RTS, FIFA. It doesn't matter. There are plenty of examples of whatever genre you pick where they're fun immediately, and you don't have to cope for the first 8 hrs.

@BaegulTheDwarf But there are no Forsaken Paladins in lore, and I can only think of Alonsus for priests, so I would assume there's a conviction issue more than anything else.
Alonsus existing means its possible, but a Calia-like or light blessed faction existing would just make more sense.
