Hundreds of students at The Watertown High School in Wisconsin walked out of school after the conservative school board, banned a song with no lyrics whatsoever from being played by the school band. The school board claimed that this song “indoctrinated students and endorsed violence”. It was “A Mother of a Revolution,” and it had NO LYRICS AT ALL.

WALT WHITMAN HS GUN ARREST: A 16-year-old Walt Whitman High School student is in custody and facing weapons charges after bringing a loaded handgun onto school property. School security located the student and Andre Wilson of Bethesda was removed from class and escorted to a secure room. Wilson was separated from his belongings, and a search revealed a loaded 9mm Ruger handgun with an obliterated serial number in his backpack, along with a magazine. Wilson was taken into custody by Montgomery County Police. He is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school property, possession of a firearm by a minor, illegal possession of ammunition, carrying a handgun on person, possession of firearm with serial number obliterated, illegal possession of a regulated firearm and loaded handgun on person. Andre Wilson is charged as an adult and is being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. #MCPD

We find out the $7,000 tab wasn't in El Salvador or wasn't at a local bar. It was through a catering service for staff paid for by campaign funds. I stand firmly with our educators and support staff in the Montgomery County school district. These folks are the backbone of our schools— not a line item we can simply cut when a budget gets tight. I’m calling on the Montgomery County Council to reject any cuts to school staff. Our students deserve fully staffed schools with hardworking, dedicated educators and support staff who love their jobs and want to keep working hard to foster the next generation.

A 10-year-old wrote MAGA Congresswoman Virginia Foxx for a school project. He chose to write about an electric vehicle tax credit. Something he thought was good for the environment. Virginia responded by attacking him and his teacher for being propagandized. Her words: “your teacher will not be able to give you a good education as they are too interested in indoctrinating you... How sad.” An 80-year-old woman. Attacking a 10-year-old. For doing his homework. These people have power over your life.

AOC: What is extremely disturbing about what has happened in Virginia is this court overturned the will of three million Virginians. They can say what they want about the ballot initiative, but they explicitly chose to issue this ruling after the election happened. They had all the time in the world to issue an opinion or an injunction before allowing this election to happen. They did not overturn a map—they overturned an election. It is the power of the American people that should be the ultimate check on all three branches. The court’s ability to overturn an election that was clear in its result should be something that is called into question.
