If you could complete the exact same task with 2 small tractors as one big tractor, would you consider this? Same cost or less, same number of operators ( 1 driven tractor, 1 autonomous ), and same acres per hour. Medium level technical knowledge required.

@Milkabot @DaveWCooper He might not have been impressed at the time, and maybe still not, but deep down he knew it was the right move. That's my story and I'm sticking to it

LARGE ACRE ONTARIO FARMERS! Imagine a 30 or 40 ft high speed disc that folds narrow for travel on Ontario's busy roads!! Let us show you this new model from Kubota. It is designed to flex to handle rolling hills. Covers big acres and moves nicely around the countryside.

@DaveWCooper @MaxCetane @paulcagronomist @KubotaCanadaLtd "Different strokes for different folks" obviously applies. It depends on your priorities. Personally, I like no-till seeding of wheat after soys plus once-over with herbicide(s). I suspect that, for many, the few grams/acre of herbicides used are dwarfed by soil erosion benefits.

@BobBake3019884 Best answer will be at harvest in 2026 to see which one plot yielded better, it’s all just observational till that point

Didn't get to doing some broadcast wheat I wanted to try, but did a couple tillage strips to see what wheat grows better, to till or not too till, that is the question

@TerryDaynard @paulcagronomist @KubotaCanadaLtd Just demoing a piece of tillage, this would be similar to a spring pass, but it’s fall, customer wanted to see what kinda job the disc did at a shallower depth, we were only 1.5 maybe 2 inches on this pass

People often mistake @formosafarmer for myself and vice versa, so I started telling them I’m the better looking brother. He does the same thing. Catches people off guard but also good to have some fun in life.

Just had worst hotel experience in my life at a motel in Chatham. Cigarette burns through the bottom sheet. No top sheets. Just a comforter clearly never washed. Room was filthy. The owner went ahead of me, spraying disinfectant. Had to fight to get my money back. Just gross.
