@marshal What about Cincinnati?? Lots of incredible parks, great schools (public and private), plenty of hiking in the city (it’s very hilly), plus near Hocking Hills and Red River Gorge. We have four seasons, an excellent entrepreneurship scene, and it’s a great sports town.

My wife and I have started to consider the idea of moving away from Texas. Cities were considering: - Raleigh, NC - Nashville, TN (Brentwood area?) - Charlotte, NC - St. Louis, MO (Ladue area) Anything else that’s similar we should consider? We want big TREES, great nature, four seasons of weather. International airport, and ideally country clubs nearby. States with a high income tax are a no go. 5-6% state income tax is max I want to do coming from 0%. Summers in Texas are the worst. We can’t do it anymore.

7 years ago for Spring break, my friends drove from TN -> AZ, hiked/camped at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and hiked back up. While all our other friends went to the beach and partied, we saw the whole country and shared incredible memories I think about this trip regularly.

4/ Customers are in dire need of a solution. Customers are SICK of having 50+ SaaS tools. Everyone just wants an all-in-one. Something specific to them. They hate customization or spending TIME and MONEY to get something to 'work' for them. vSaaS is the answer.

I used to think horizontal SaaS was the best way to create a billion dollar company, but I was wrong. 🧵
