@Fab0o0o People focus on who the analysts are calling out. Speaking as a former NBA fan, I don’t care that OKC is benefiting from flops. I don’t care if it’s SGA, PGA, CIA…throw anyone out there. I stopped watching cause so much of the league does this cap and it’s ruined the league.

The Mariners moved AJ Pollack at the deadline for peanuts in 2023 and cut Kolton Wong in August of 2022, eating over $3 million in guaranteed money in his case. I get the Refsnyder frustration, but it’s been less than 70 AB’s. This isn’t just a guy who was “OK “ vs. LHP, or even league-average. But since 2022 he’s mashed .312/.407/.516/.924 vs LHP with a 155 wRC+ They’re going to give him some more time, as they should. If he doesn’t turn it around they’ll do what they have to to eat the salary and cut bait. It’s just not going to happen on the fans timeline.
