To say I had a great time at the GRS/GRC on additive manufacturing of soft materials would be a large understatement.From giving a talk at the GRS, to making some great connections with new friends and learning about some really cool things going on in 3D printing…I’m exhausted!

Exciting work led by Jason Kronenfeld is now out in @Nature! This work demonstrates high throughput roll-to-roll microparticle printing with materials ranging from hydrogels to ceramics. Also the first publication from my postdoc!

I'm honored to be included in this symposium and looking forward to the 2024 Spring ACS Meeting!

@zhangmeng459153 @Nature Thanks for the question! In principle HIAM can work with any water-soluble precursor (or solvent-soluble, if you infuse an organogel). For example, in the paper we used a non-nitrate salt to make W. Water solubility was an important factor for choosing nitrate vs. sulfate for us.

@MaxSaccone @Nature Dear Dr. Max Saccon. I have a question about that why you choose nitrate in the swell process. Why the sulfate can not apply in this process? Actually, the sulfate such as CuSO4 can be broken down into sulfur dioxide and the corresponding metal oxides in the air atmosphere.
