In our international multicenter cohort, 119 patients showed primary resistance to 1L ICI in PD-L1 ≥50% NSCLC. In 2L, continuing ICI + chemo improved outcomes vs chemo alone (PFS2 12.3 vs 7.0; OS 21.8 vs 10.1). Full paper here @ESMO_Open : sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Two intense days at the @AIOMtweet Congress. We discussed about liquid biopsy in early-stage NSCLC, and, during the plenary session, about the preliminary results of the RISP cost–benefit analysis (Italian lung cancer screening). Thanks to AIOM, to all RISP PIs and Pr. Novello.

At #ESMO25 we report a cost-effectiveness analysis of lung cancer screening in Italy (RISP program). Screening proves to be effective, and although preliminary, the data suggest a favorable cost-effectiveness profile. Updated results will be presented at the next #AIOM Congress!
