מאז פיטוריו של הרמטכ״ל השיח בטוויטר סוער. לצד אלפי פוסטים על לקיחת אחריות וקריאות להתפטרויות, פוסטים שהביעו תודה אישית לרמטכל היוצא הרצי הלוי זכו למעורבות גבוהה ביותר – עם אלפי לייקים, תגובות ושיתופים. מעניין להשוות את זה לתשובות לשאלה ששאלנו בסקר שערכנו בנובמבר, מיד לאחר פיטורי גלנט: מי האחראי העיקרי להצלחות המלחמה? באופן לא מפתיע נראו פערים גדולים, כאשר תומכי האופוזיציה ייחסו את ההצלחה בעיקר לרמטכ"ל הרצי הלוי, ואילו תומכי הקואליציה בעיקר לראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו. ומה דעתכם כיום?

🇺🇸🇮🇱 לקראת ההשבעה לנשיאות ארה"ב היום - מה חושבים הישראלים? יום לאחר התחלת מימוש עסקת החטופים, ולקראת ההשבעה החגיגית של דונלד טראמפ לנשיא ארצות הברית, ביצענו ניתוח של השיח הישראלי בטוויטר על טראמפ וביידן במהלך החודשים האחרונים, באמצעות המוצר שלנו Hive Networks. 📈 מצאנו עלייה עקבית ברגש (סנטימנט) בשיח כלפי טראמפ וביידן (NET Sentiment)*, במיוחד בשלושת החודשים האחרונים – לא רק בקרב תומכי הקואליציה בישראל, אלא גם בקרב תומכי האופוזיציה. נראה שסיום כהונה אחת ותחילת כהונה חדשה משפיעים על השיח הישראלי, שמפחית את הקיטוב ביחס למנהיגים. אולי מדובר ברגע שבו הציבור מביט אחורה וקדימה באופטימיות ו״פותח דף חלק״, או שאולי התחושות קשורות במדיניות ארצות הברית כלפי ישראל ועסקת החטופים? מה דעתכם? 💡 *מה זה NET Sentiment? סך ההתייחסויות החיוביות פחות סך ההתייחסויות השליליות בשיח בישראל ברשת החברתית X (לשעבר טוויטר). 📊 הנתונים מתוך Hive Networks, שמאפשר לעשות מיפוי קהלים ומספק תובנות עומק על מגמות בשיח באמצעות ניתוח הרשתות החברתיות ומאפשר לזהות שינויים ותהליכים משמעותיים בדעת הקהל.

Excited about the opportunity to present our research today at the @IsraeliComm Annual Conference @ReichmanUni entitled "Projecting Tomorrow's Challenges: A Theoretical And Empirical Investigation Of Setting Future Agendas" together with @KerenTenenboim & @c_baden. In the paper, we explore the temporal complexity of public agendas, consisting of multiple temporal layers beyond people's perceptions of the most urgent problems. We show rich empirical evidence from 🇫🇷 and 🇮🇱 based on original survey and large scale media content data, combined in a linkage analysis research design. Really happy this conference is happening today after all!

Hebrew University mourns the passing of Nobel laureate, Prof. Daniel Kahneman, graduate of the Hebrew University, former lecturer in the Department of Psychology, fellow in the University's Center for the Study of Rationality, and holder of an honorary doctorate on its behalf. During his years at the university, Kahneman developed, in the mid-70s of the last century, together with the late Prof. Amos Tversky, the Prospect Theory, an alternative theory to the theory of normative utility, which better describes how people make decisions under conditions of actual uncertainty. They also delved into the realm of decision-making under conditions of uncertainty, uncovering significant biases that lead us astray from probability theory, often resulting in irrational behavior. Their findings fundamentally challenged previous concepts, brought about a real revolution in everything related to decision-making, economic and other, and influenced the policies of many companies and entities all over the world. Kahneman’s groundbreaking research continues to develop to this day, and forms the basis for determining policies for behaviors in situations of uncertainty. A giant in his generation. Of blessed memory!
