I hope you’re aware that the visit of the Mr. President to the UK cuts not only across trade and investment, but also defence and security cooperation. Do you expect the President to travel for high-level discussion about partnership in intelligence sharing and counter-terrorism without his National Security Adviser?
Have you forgotten the role of the NSA again? Lol 😂
His presence ensures that the UK visit is not just diplomatic, but also strategically grounded in security cooperation, intelligence sharing, and counter-terrorism planning.
The same goes for the Minister of Defence; his role is not operational and commanding soldiers anymore, but policy, budgeting, and administrative work.
All the top guys responsible for combat operations, intelligence and policing are all in Maiduguri.
What else do you want the NSA and minister of defense to stay back and do in Nigeria while their service is wanting elsewhere?

The President himself, NUHU RIBADU - NSA, and the Minister of Defense are the top security officials in the president's cabinet. Or do you see anyone amongst the ones you mentioned attending FEC meeting? That's because they are not in the Presidents cabinet. So when I say security top guys, I mean the Top 3.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over a recovered sum of ₦3,936,145,822 to Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited at its Abuja headquarters.
The funds were traced to fraudulent activities involving certain actors within the company.
Representing EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, the Secretary to the Commission, Mohammed Hammajoda, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to combating financial crimes, while highlighting the risks and sacrifices involved in such operations.
In a strong demonstration of institutional collaboration, NNPC was represented by its Executive Vice President (Downstream), Mumuni Dagazau, who disclosed that the company itself invited EFCC to investigate the matter.
He expressed appreciation for the recovery, describing it as a clear signal of NNPC’s resolve to strengthen internal controls and deepen transparency.
Under the leadership of Bayo Ojulari, NNPC continues to make notable strides toward greater accountability and openness.

GOOD NEWS: The Troops of Operation Hadin Kai in conjunction with the Nigerian Airforce have eliminated 61 ISWAP terrorists in their latest attempt to attack Malam Fatori, Abadam LGA, Borno State ISWAP terrorists launched the attack in the early hours of Wednesday, advancing on foot and deploying armed drones in a desperate bid to breach the defences of troops at the 68 Battalion location. The attack, which came through the frontage of Bravo Company from the Duguri general area, was met with overwhelming firepower and superior coordination between ground forces and air components.
