We should be clear about something: Canada is not experiencing an upswing in "patriotic pride." Canada is experiencing an upswing in hatred and fear of the United States. That's totally Trump's fault, but hatred and fear of another country and its people is never a good thing.

It's very disappointing the Federal government is giving Doug Ford the green light to pave over the Greenbelt and prime farmland with Highway 413. Once again Ford is putting the profits of billionaire developers that own land near the 413 route over the people of Ontario. Highway 413 will increase flooding by destroying wetlands, hurt local farming, and pollute the air. Ontario Greens are fighting to put people over profits and cancel Highway 413 once and for all.
