One of the suspects involved in the shootout at the Bite of Seattle event that killed three people and injured several bystanders had previously been arrested in connection to a shooting in Seattle, court records show. Junior Niko-Semo, 19, was killed in Sunday's shooting, but police quickly said they believe he was also one of the shooters involved in the incident.

@Deseret It was a Polynesian gang shootout not dissimilar to what happens in Utah nearly every weekend. Name of one of the shooters who died at the scene is Junior Cee Niko Semo, 19. This is one they detained. Import low IQ gangbangers this is what happens.

NEW: Black civil rights leaders just blasted Seattle socialist Mayor Katie Wilson for reportedly terminating SPD Chief Shon Barnes. They want the mayor to reinstate Barnes, saying he’s being made the fall guy for her “inexperience.” There is also an undercurrent of race at play. Wilson is white and Barnes is black. The civil rights leaders say Wilson should be doing more to retain black leaders in her majority white administration. Barnes has been under enormous pressure for being out of town during the Seattle Center mass shooting.
