The outrage for this should be as loud as Bediako. Luis was at St. John’s, entered draft. Same thing as Bediako. No way he will be eligible I wouldn’t think

The exhibit 10 is supposed to disqualify you that’s why I’m bringing it up. It’s just subjective ruling. I just think the moment you forgo eligibility in any way, euro pro older than 19, NBA, G-League, etc. you should have no way to get back to college. Nnaji started this whole problem.

This wasn’t a shot at The Bama Standard. I said repeatedly that you guys might have your own sources on this — and if so, that’s completely fine. I’m saying it somewhat lined up with what I had reported but wanted to clarify the difference in mine. That’s not to say your reporting was wrong. I think you’re reading a little too hard into this, Clint’s not the guy to say that somebody else can’t do the same job he’s doing, you both probably have different sources and that’s okay, it’s what makes getting coverage from multiple different media people exciting. BOL had something a little different than both of you and again, that’s okay. I don’t think Clint had any hostility in his words or would purposefully discredit another Bama media outlet. There should be a 5/5 rule put in for college athletics. You have 5 years from the day you step on campus to play. No redshirts. Just so everyone is aware if this were to be passed like it has been discussed then Bediako would fall under those guidelines.

@MaxwellNoblitt @BamaVisualz Conferences can’t run the sport because they’ll only do what’s best for their conference. Sankey’s job isn’t to protect college athletics, his job is to protect the SEC. It doesn’t have to be the NCAA I guess but somebody has to control all of it

@MaxwellNoblitt @BamaVisualz The NCAA hasn’t helped because the Alston ruling sued them to the sidelines. For 100 years college athletics grew and prospered because the institutions agreed to play by the rules. Then the money got too big so everyone involved only does what’s best for them
