He isn’t the most athletic, but he is a cerebral player that understands offense better than nearly any other player I’ve seen. Without him, Denver would be a lotto pick every year. He’s also more durable than Embiid.

Jokic was one of the worst defenders in the league for a long time and very recently improved to below average, although more credit goes to the nuggets defensive gameplan masking him
