✏️ Sometimes a warm-up is needed before #illustrating, and an old favorite of mine is this simple tea stain #exercise. The only rule: stay within the stain’s limits. I always have a few pages in my #sketchbook with these tea stains ready—just dab the page with #tea bags ☕️, let it dry overnight, and let the #shapes guide you. The idea isn’t to create perfect, detailed images, just to get things started. Hope you find this helpful!

Hello @AndrewLolmaugh. Please let me know how would be best to send you my address on Xverse. I'm not sure how many copies you made of the sketch. As we agreed, you will send me the original inscription, so there will be no additional ones. However, I would like you to keep the 2nd one (that already exists) as a gift from me. I would like to clearly state that I don't allow any use of this copy other than to keep for yourself. I am always open to collaborations, and as I've states before am familiar with blockchain and NFTs. Once I receive the inscription (or inscriptions if there are more than 2), I'll make sure to come back here and post that I've received them, so that everyone can see. I do appreciate the good intentions and your integrity with this matter.

Hello Andrew - I appreciate very much your respectful and thoughtful response. I also like the fact that you took the time explaining to me the benefits of minting my art using blockchain technology :). Few years back, I actually made a series of animations that were intended to become NFTs. I consulted a designated department in a big law firm (back then there weren't many lawyers specializing in this), and had fascinating discussions about the Howey Test applied by the SEC (and the not yet resolved utility section). I understand completely your enthusiasm regarding this, and I, too, see a lot of potential in terms of security and maintaining ownership, as well as other benefits. The reasons I didn't choose to go with this back then were unresolved questions regarding regulations in the US, as well as the way the market has been developing (not yet matured). There are also still some limitations with bigger files, especially with animations, if you want it in high quality... I think we could have quite an interesting conversation. Who knows, we might have a chance to some day :). Thank you for taking into consideration the ownership of my sketch. Yes, I would like to have ownership of the inscriptions and can send you an address for one of my wallets. I'm sure you understand why I don't mind people seeing my work, but am reluctant to have copies of it belonging to strangers, who might be less respectful than you are when it comes to copyrights. How many inscriptions are there?

I do apologize Maya. Never intended to use it for any commercial purpose. All Bitcoin fees associated with the inscription process and the rare satoshi it has been inscribed to were a personal expense and never was any effort made to produce any income, promote, or sell any of your art. Nor was your art being used to promote or launch any business effort or agenda. I just thought it was a nice gesture and might be appreciated by someone around Christmas time. I am happy to remove the post from Twitter if that is what you would like to see happen. Unfortunately, I am unable to eliminate the image from the Bitcoin Blockchain as the chain itself is immutable and therefore anything inscribed to an individual satoshi will exist there forever. I would be able to send it to you, as requested. That was the purpose for this second inscription anyway. As it cannot be deleted and you are requesting it not be shared, may I ask for you to be the recipient? I am confident that, as an artist, you would find the Bitcoin blockchain very purposeful once you used it. I also would feel much better knowing that you won't have to worry about it being distributed or sold if you were to be in possession of it. Please share your thoughts and let me know how I might make this right by you, and again, apologies.

I would write to you privately, as I would like to believe that this is a miss understanding and you didn't mean to actually publish my art without my permission. Once I receive confirmation that you removed my art from the platform you signed it on, I'll be more than happy to delete my comments.

@MayaKeshet I asked @MayaKeshet if I could use her image and inscribe it to the $BTC network as a tribute to my Mother. I was curious about the new #Ord protocol that had been written by @rodarmor and wanted to play around with the functionality it brought to the $BTC Blockchain.

I would like to clearly state that I've never allowed the use of my art for any commercial purposes. Furthermore, I would like to add that I didn't receive any DM from you regarding copies of my art, which I never named "Missing Mom", or any other name. I would like to kindly ask you to remove my art from any place you used it for without my consent. I will consider this a misunderstanding, as I did allow you to keep a copy for your personal use. However, I'm sure you're well aware, that using someone's art without a written consent specifying the use of the art is dishonest and unfortunately illegal. I will now keep all of the correspondence regarding this on file, and will allow you few days to provide confirmation that you had remove any copy of my art from any platform, service or any other 3rd party establishment, blockchain or other. You are welcome to keep a copy for your personal use, but not for any other use. Again, for this you need written consent. I hope to hear from you and get a confirmation that my art was indeed removed from where you uploaded it to.

I inscribed "Missing Mom" for myself as a permanent tribute to my Mother, immutable and forever intwined into the most secure network mankind has ever seen, $BTC, as I worked to deal with our families loss. I also inscribed a second with the idea of sending it to @MayaKeshet so that she could "Parent" future inscriptions if she ever decided to give this piece away to others. Both were inscribed onto Block 9 Nakamoto sats from the earliest available transactions that $BTC had to offer.
