The publisher can also be a subscriber for the same event it is publishing.

Day 8 of Learning Backend I learnt about: –The Event Emitter module & how to create a custom emitter class that extends it – Listening for events with .on() & triggering them with .emit() – Automatically creating a logs folder and appending each log entry to an eventLog.txt file

Basically it's like broadcasting notifications like updates, log out (1 person logged out notification when have multiple users) .. I hope I could help you
