Not to mention the 2011 Intervention in Libya and actions against ISIS. Plus we wouldn’t have had the coalition after 9/11.

It's embarrassing that pleasing trumps ego is more important for troop levels than defense spending, buying American or being a real ally.
Germany and Poland have caught flak from this admin while being great allies. Hungary appeasing Russia and at 2% spending never caught flak

@MaybeMattis @SamuelFByers All of those where against relatively small armed organisations tho. Nothing really comparable. And our contribution to OIR (chammal/Hydra) was symbolic most of the time, at best. The main/decisive effort was american, all along.

@MattWalshBlog As the people who fund NASA, we should demand a public competition to select the candidates eligible for flight crews. We should be allowed to see their skills and competence under pressure. Final selection can be by the mission commanders.

Trump likely wants to leave NATO but the GOP Congress won't go with that now, and it'd be unpopular with the base. Europe's temper tantrum over Iran can shift things in Trump's favor. We don't recommend this strategy.
