I am so glad that what we have been saying has been made cleared by his excellency Rabiu musa kwankwanso in his words
“I am convinced that Peter Obi is truly ready for a united Nigeria. Many people have twisted what happened in Imo State the issue of the ID CARD / TAG given to northers, I was the one who stepped in . You have all been hearing my interviews, the ones I have done and I am still doing.
There is no way people will say Northerners were being targeted without mentioning that I stepped in to resolve the matter. I, Rabiu Kwankwaso, intervened and settled the issue. It was not Anambra, it was not Peter Obi it was an issue in Imo State, and I was the one who stepped in.
The person involved is a friend of ours from the North. I do not know what happened to him maybe power got into his head or something else happened.
I personally went to him and told him that what he was doing would not work, and that others could also retaliate by doing the same thing. We discussed it, laughed over it, shook hands, and everything was settled peacefully. I was the one who arranged and resolved the matter.
But despite all this, people still say Peter Obi does not like the North or that he hates Northerners. All those claims are false. They are huge and deliberate lies.

The man kidnapped and beheaded is crying out to the Government to stop playing politics with the lives of citizens and prioritize security across the country. Today it is one family mourning, tomorrow it could be another innocent Nigerian.
People can no longer travel freely, sleep peacefully, or go about their daily activities without fear. Communities are living in panic while criminals continue to operate boldly. This is no longer just news headlines, it is a national emergency.
Government at all levels must rise beyond political interests, media statements, and empty promises. Nigerians deserve protection, justice, and safety. Human life must become more important than power struggles and political calculations.
Nobody is truly safe when insecurity is allowed to spread unchecked.
Enough is enough. End the killings. End the kidnappings. Protect the people.

Debt Servicing, Borrowing, and Nigeria’s Fiscal Priorities
During his recent foreign tour, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stated that Nigeria will spend about $11.6 billion on debt servicing, a figure that should concern anyone interested in the country’s economic future and long-term development.
There is nothing inherently wrong with borrowing when it is guided by prudence and directed toward productive investment. Countries such as Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Indonesia are all heavily indebted, yet their borrowings are largely channelled into education, healthcare, infrastructure, and innovation - sectors that generate long-term economic returns and sustain repayment capacity. As a result, despite high debt levels, their obligations remain more manageable because they are tied to measurable productivity.
Nigeria’s situation, however, is markedly different. A huge proportion of past borrowing has been directed toward consumption, with limited visible or sustainable developmental outcomes to justify the scale of indebtedness.
It is also important to note that a huge portion of the debt currently being serviced was accumulated under the Tinubu administration itself, while borrowing has continued at a significant pace. The administration’s recent external borrowing alone includes about $6 billion (from First Abu Dhabi Bank in the UAE—$5 billion, and UK Export Finance via Citibank London—$1 billion), a further $1.25 billion under consideration from the World Bank, and an additional $516 million arranged through Deutsche Bank, bringing the latest known external loan commitments to roughly $7.8 billion. In addition, domestic borrowing through monthly bond issuances continues to add to the overall debt stock.
Against this backdrop, Nigeria’s 2026 budget shows that health is ₦2.46 trillion, education is ₦2.56 trillion, and poverty alleviation is ₦865 billion, giving a combined total of about ₦5.885 trillion for these three critical sectors. By comparison, debt servicing at about $11.6 billion (approximately ₦17–₦18 trillion, depending on exchange rate assumptions) is almost three times higher than the total allocation to health, education, and social protection combined. This imbalance highlights a troubling fiscal reality in which debt obligations increasingly crowd out investment in human capital and poverty reduction. Moreover, even within the limited allocations to these sectors, funds may not be fully released, and a significant portion of what is eventually released could be misappropriated.
Ultimately, the central issue is not borrowing itself, but whether borrowed funds are being converted into measurable productivity, inclusive growth, and improved living standards. Without this, debt servicing shifts from being a temporary fiscal obligation to a long-term structural burden that constrains development and deepens economic vulnerability.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The coastal road really did wonders to these axes...in a few years it will all be filled with vertical towers. The skyline will be even more mind-blowing.
This is why I said the government should never abandon the regional road.
Make the Island more and more accessible and create many alternatives... attract much more capital and generate more revenue to maintain the city.
Dr. Hamzat honestly needs to focus on road infrastructure.
All the state roads in Lagos should be resurfaced, potholes totally eliminated, roads properly marked, and curbs kept well-painted and shiny...keep attracting more and more capital 👌

@joanjonas71 My sister has been missing since October 2025. We’ve reported it, searched, reposted, and tried everything we can, but we still don’t have answers.
An adult cannot just disappear.
Please help us share her story further. Someone out there knows something.
