Based on 2024 US House election data: - Texas (38 seats): Democrats got ~40% of statewide vote, hold 13 seats (34%). - California (52 seats): Republicans got ~40% of vote, hold 12 seats (23%). Democrats in Texas are slightly underrepresented, but Republicans in California are more so. Thus, Democrats have relatively more representation in Texas than Republicans do in California.
