So very sad to hear of the passing of Ted Gundry. He was a good friend of Helston and a fantastic broadcaster.

Great to be back in Helston after a family wedding in the USA. Met and had photo taken with the Mayor of Spokane WA - 88th City in the US.

Great win by Helston AFC at Porthleven last night. 3 - 1. Well done!

Congratulations to Freeman Perry, Freeman Fitter and Freeman Williams who were awarded the Freeman honour today in Helston.

Looking forward to next Tuesday when Helston will be honouring three new Freemen.

Very sorry to hear of the death this week of Jeffrey Roberts - former Mayor of Helston 1979-1981. His funeral is on Wednesday in Breage.

Many thanks to all who attended the Civic Service yesterday - the collection raised over £300 for the Mayor's fund. A lovely afternoon.
