Went out to support opening day for Land Park & East Sac little leagues last weekend! ⚾   There was so much energy out on the field!   Wishing all the players, coaches & families an amazing season full of teamwork & community.

This morning, we rode along with our Parks Department & learned about what it takes to keep our city parks clean & welcoming. Parks are an essential resource for Sacramentans of all ages, especially our youth. Major thank you to our Parks staff, many of whom cover 50+ acres.

I was honored to speak at the @SacPolice’s promotion ceremony for 9 new sworn officers.   It was a great opportunity to celebrate their service & recognize the positive impact our public safety teams make. Thanks to their hard work, crime in Sacramento is down by double digits.

On Saturday, I had the privilege of judging homemade sweet potato pies at the @ncnwsvs's 37th Sweet Potato Festival!   Excellent to see the community out at the Simmons Community Center for this annual event, nurturing youth through education, wellness & economic opportunity.
